Artist Support Grant is open for applications - Due January 15, 2026 

The Artist Support Grant offers funding for costs associated with the exhibition, performance, or production of creative work or other opportunities to enhance your creative development such as:

·       purchase of materials or equipment to create your work

·       educational opportunities in arts or culture-bearing activities (excluding academic/college credit) such as classes, demonstrations, or workshops

·       working with a master artist, mentor, or elder to learn new or traditional techniques

·       attending a national conference or culture-bearing activity

·       taking part in a residency program to focus on your creative work

·       marketing your creative work

Creative people such as Artists, Culture Bearers, Musicians, Writers, Artisan Craftspeople, Theater Artists, Woodcarvers, Beading artists, Dancers, Jewelers, Regalia Makers, Poets, Potters, Weavers, Basket makers, Sculptors, Filmmakers, etc. are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants must be 18 years or older and reside in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen counties. All grant applications must be completed online.

 

Maximum Award: $2,000

Application Due Date: January 15, 2026

Grant Review: February 10th, 2026

Earliest Start Date: March 1, 2026
