Watermark Art Festival

  • Watermark Art Center Bemidji, MN (map)

Did you hear that the Watermark Art Festival has expanded the outdoor Family Art Activities Area? This year we'll have a special hands-on art experience the "Weaving Water Workshop: Landscape of Creativity" with Special Guest Artist Sarah Nasiff. Try your hand at spinning, folding, binding, and dyeing to create unique patterns in cloth and fiber. Our many fragments will be woven into a new textile artwork to be displayed at Watermark after the festival. And that's not all! There will be artist demonstrations plus welding in the Bemidji Sculpture Walk tent. Live music, food court, and lots and lots of art- all happening both days from 1am to 5pm. For more information regarding this event, please visit www.watermarkartcenter.org/our-programs/festival/ This activity is made possible through a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
