Stories of Us
The Stories of Us started as a conversation. As R2Arts has sat down and talked with creative individuals and organizations, it sparks an idea. The stories we had been hearing were incredibly powerful, and we started to think. What if there was a way to share these powerful stories to others in our Region? There are so many different art forms in our area alone, what if we were able to fascilitate sharing these stories so others can join in the conversation as well? And that began the project of The Stories of Us.
Outreach Coordinator, Ogimaa has been sitting down with families to hear their stories, listen to their family memories regarding art and creativity. These podcasts are the start of a series called The Stories of Us, in these conversational podcasts we gain insight into the lives of those around us. We share the memories of familiar areas, and discuss what the experience was like for each family.
