Wire jewelry grows out of ancient traditions of personal adornment, trade, and craft. Across cultures, copper and other soft metals were shaped by hand into functional and symbolic objects- pins, fasteners, talisman, and decorative forms meant to be worn daily. Simple loops, twists, and wraps became visual language, carrying meaning through repetition and form. This workshop draws from that lineage, using accessible materials and traditional techniques to create wearable pieces in both beauty and purpose.

Create simple, handcrafted jewelry using copper wire and beads. In this hands-on beginner-friendly workshop, participants will make a pin and either a necklace or bracelet while learning basic wire-wrapping techniques, tools, and wire types.
