White Earth Tribal & Community College invites you to Unraveling the Ribbon, a community documentary screening exploring the history, meaning, and enduring significance of the Native American ribbon skirt.
Through stories shared across generations, this powerful film honors ribbon skirts as expressions of identity, resilience, healing, ceremony, creativity, and Indigenous sovereignty.
Featured Guest: Beverly St. John, WETCC Sewing Instructor, who is featured in the documentary sharing the history and meaning of the ribbon skirt tradition.
