This exhibition showcasing new work, showcases 30 artworks spanning a few months creation, explores the unique process employed by Dawn Rossbach, an artist afflicted with aphantasia - the inability to visualize images in the mind’s eye.
Through this exhibition, Rossbach delbes into the intricate mechanisms by which her brain, despite the condition, generates works of art from memory without any external references.
The work will be on exhibit September 12th through October 5th, 2025 with an Artist reception on Saturday September 20th from 1-3pm.
Dawn Rossbach is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
