The Stationary Basket is a wall-hanging basket designed to hold an 8"x5" notebook, with a woven penholder attached. This basket challenges students to work on shaping, with a flat back and curved front. Students will have the opportunity to choose green or plum accents and will learn this new shape, adding the pen holder after the basket is woven.
Basket will include twining, lashing, and weaving with flat and flat oval rattan.
All tools and materials will be provided, including the pen and notebook in a variety of choices. Finished Basket is approx. 12” high, 3” deep, and 8" wide. Ages 16+, hand dexterity is required.
We will take a 30 minute lunch break, lunch is not provided.
