March 2nd is the first iteration of our 'How to' series! On the first webinar we will begin to discuss the basics of 'How to' Build a Portfolio.

R2Arts Outreach Manager Ogimaa will walk us through the foundational basics of building a portfolio. We will discuss how to:

-Write an Artist Bio, what to include (and exclude), how to describe yourself as an artist, and describe your motivations and goals.

-Write an Artist Statement, what you want to include to convey your artistic perspective, how to use tone to match your style.

-How to take pictures of your work for your portfolio: how you can take these photos without a camera.

-Lastly, we will discuss what online platform might serve your purpose better.
