MMIR Awareness Walk

This weekend, November 22nd the Northwest Indian Community Development Center is holding a poster making session for the following day's Missing Murdered Indigenous Relatives walk. The poster making pre-game, held at NWICDC in Bemidji begins at 3pm-5pm. Materials will be provided!

"Join us as we come together to create posters in honor of our missing and murdered relatives. This poster making session is an opportunity to raise awareness, share messages of hope and justice, and prepare for the upcoming Awareness Walk which will take place the following day."

November 22nd, the day of poster making, will be followed by the MMIR Awareness walk that takes place on November 23rd, at 1pm.

"Come one, come all! Bring your friends, family, and community members, Wear red to show your support. Allies are welcome!!

We will walk from Paul and Babe at the waterfront to the Northwest Indian Community

Development Center where a Red Sand Art project will be installed for awareness for human trafficking and exploitation. Followed by a feast and time for reflection."
