We are excited to be featuring Kent Estey's exhibit, "Mino-Bimaadiziwin" (the Good Life), in the Bagley Public Library Community Room through May and June! Be sure to check it out!
Mino-Bimaadiziwin in Ojibwemowin means The Good Life. This special collection of works from Kent Estey features the beauty of place and the feelings associated with his home on the White Earth Reservation in the village of Naytahwaush. Kent Estey’s work captures the spiritual and physical connections in the natural world around him. His work is bright, bold, and full of movement. Most recently, Estey was awarded the Region 2 Arts Council’s Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Fellowship for 2025.
Join us for an Artist Talk/Reception this Saturday at 11:00 AM. All are welcome!
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
