Irresponsible Men Irresponsible Women

  • Headwaters Music and Arts Center Bemidji, MN (map)

Coming to the Headwaters Music and Arts on August 31st is Irresponsible Men Irresponsible Women!

"Irresponsible Men Irresponsible Women" is a play that examines social dynamics through a series of comedic vignettes. It explores themes of personal freedom, societal pressure, and complex human relationships. By using comedy, it prompts the audience to reconsider their own biases and attitudes, fostering understanding and acceptance. The narrative features fast-paced dialogue and sharp wit, keeping mature audiences entertained with its dark, irreverent humor. As a live performance piece it is also an exercise in inclusivity, incorporating an open captioned dialogue crawl for the deaf and hard of hearing, and integrated descriptive audio for blind and sight impaired audience members. Overall, "IMIW" challenges conventional ideas about society and responsibility, offering both inclusive entertainment and humorous social commentary.

The show will be a one night only event on August 31st, at 8pm at the Headwaters Music and Arts building. Tickets are $25, and now is the time to start getting them! If you want to know more about this event, please visit www.gonzotheater.com
