There is a $25 class fee for this event. Ages 16+, hand dexterity is required. This cross-body tote basket was designed by instructor Shannon Lucas Westrum, specifically for this workshop series. Students will have the opportunity of making a filled woven base, weaving with flat and round reed, and twining. They'll design their unique piece by choosing from a variety of nylon and cotton straps and coordinating reed colors. The final step will be to decide the length of the strap and stitch the clasp on. Weavers of all levels are welcome. Instructor will bring all tools and materials needed to complete the workshop.
