Brain Tanning Deer Hides, Community Hide Tanning Apprenticeship

Friday through Sunday, May 23rd-25th

Learn how to traditionally tan a deer hide in this free community class with instructors Nate Johnson and Jeff Harper in Bemidji, MN. This is the first series of hide tanning classes with the intent to train area community members in the art of hide work. Attendees will be required to be present for all three days, and be prepared for hard physical work.

Enrollment is limited with a preference given to local community members.
