Originally slated to present an Agatha Christie mystery, we encountered unforeseen challenges with casting requirements at the culmination of a bustling theater season, both at BCT and within our local theater community. Fortunately, we swiftly adapted and seized the opportunity to bring Noel Coward’s delightful comedy, “Blithe Spirit,” to our stage. This witty and charming production whisks audiences into the spirit world, where a widower’s remarriage is complicated by the unexpected appearance of his deceased wife’s spirit following a seance. Navigating the complexities of managing both a living and a spectral spouse leads to an abundance of laughter-whether it be through giggles, chuckles, or hearty chortles, the choice is yours.
