Minnesota author, Cary J. Griffith will be visiting area libraries for presentations focusing on his latest book, Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters. Gunflint Falling tells the story of the devastating July 4th, 1999 storm from the perspectives of those who were on the ground before, during, and after the catastrophic event- from first-time visitors to the north woods to returning paddlers to Forest Service Rangers. He will also discuss his lates Sam Rivers Mystery, Dead Catch (set on Lake Vermillion.)

This free program is 1 hour long and is geared towards junior high students (ages 10+) and adults.
