Open to artists who are enrolled tribal members and descendants. Must reside in the following counties: Becker, Beltrami, Cass, Clearwater, Hubbard, Itasca, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, or Roseau. All arts disciplines welcome. This grant offers funding for costs associated with the exhibition, performance, or production of a creative work, purchase of materials or equipment to create works of art, educational opportunities in the arts (excluding academic credit), and proposals for projects or opportunities to enhance the career of an artist.

The Grant Application
The grant application will ask a series of questions such as eligibility questions, demographics questions, and questions based on our scoring criteria of Artistic Quality, Commitment to Artistic Growth, and Planning and Management. There are also pieces needed for the grant application which you should gather before you apply, such as work samples (Work Sample Submission Policy), an artist resume or bio, and a budget.
