An artist statement should be an honest, clear, and thoughtful exploration into your creative work and who you are as an artist. Artist Statements can include information on style, goals, personal motivation for creating art, and a description of an artist’s experience with his/her art form. An Artist Statement will help the reader understand an artist’s creative vision.
