Funds may be used for artists-in-residence programs, educational performances, educational arts field trips, to provide arts training or workshops, and more. Formerly the Arts & Cultural Heritage Grant for Schools, the Arts Learning Grant is now open to schools, community education programs, institutions of higher learning, non-profits, local government or tribal offices, or groups with a fiscal sponsor located in the five Region 2 Arts Council Counties. Public schools or community education programs may apply for grants up to $3,000 with no cash match. All applicant organizations may apply for up to $6,000 (20% cash match required).
All eligible projects must be arts learning-focused, have a strong community component, and benefit the residents of Beltrami, Hubbard, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen Counties.
