Arts Expo and Native Artist Exhibit: This Weekend!

Region 2 Arts Council’s first Arts Expo is Saturday April 29: 10 am – 4 pm

All are Invited:  Artists, Craftspeople, Arts Appreciators, Culture-Bearers, Organizations, Schools, City Planners, Town and City governments, Administrators, Non-Profit Organizations and more!
Come for the art! Our Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Exhibition will be open to the public.   Find funders and artists for the arts programming you’ve been planning. Learn about engaging audiences and artists with disabilities, how to apply for a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. Learn about the awards and opportunities First Peoples Fund has to offer Native Artists. Find out about grants through the McKnight Foundation.  Learn what it takes to have a show at a local or regional gallery and how to engage as a participant or volunteer with arts organizations in our region.
Finally, don’t miss out on Sheila Smith’s talk on the million and billion dollar impact the arts have on our economy in the State and in our region.
