Arts Project Grants and Arts & Cultural Heritage Grants for Schools are now open for applications!

Create a login to apply for the R2AC Arts Project Grant or the Arts & Cultural Heritage Grant for Schools by October 15, 2016.

The Arts Project Grant offers funding for a variety of art projects including costs related to arts performances or exhibitions, public art projects, arts workshops or festivals, or artists-in-residence at schools or at local community centers. Non-profits, schools, government or tribal offices, community education programs, or arts-focused groups with a fiscal sponsor can apply for up to $2,500. Additionally, arts organizations, such as community theater groups, art centers, community chorales/bands/orchestras, etc. may also apply to fund consultation projects in board development, fiscal management, fundraising, public relations, audience development, or assistance in designing arts programming.

The Arts & Cultural Heritage Grant for Schools offers funding for costs associated with arts performances or exhibitions, engagement of guest artists, public art projects, artists-in-residence, and other arts projects. Public schools, charter schools, or community education programs can apply for grants up to $3,000 with no cash match needed! So contact your local teachers, school administrators, school board members, community education directors, or parent-teacher organizations and encourage them to apply to fund some terrific arts projects in your community.

Funded arts projects must benefit the residents of Beltrami, Hubbard, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen Counties. Contact your friendly Grants Manager, Holly Alcott, if you have any questions about these grant programs or your eligibility to apply.
