The Arts Project Grant is open to non-profits, schools, government or tribal offices, community education programs, and arts-focused groups that have obtained a 501(c)3 organization to act as their fiscal sponsor. The organization that is the fiscal sponsor is then responsible to monitor the group’s project and issue the grant’s funding.

A variety of art projects are applicable to this grant: costs related to performances or exhibitions, engagement of guest artists, public art projects, and artist residencies. Arts organizations may also apply to fund consultation projects for board development, fiscal management, fundraising, public relations, audience development, or assistance in designing arts programming.
