October 15 Grant Deadlines

Region 2 Arts Council has three upcoming grant deadlines on October 15.  Remember to create a login at r2arts.org and get started with your application TODAY!

legacy_smlArts and Cultural Heritage Grants for Schools: $3000 maximum request / no cash match required

This grant is open to Region 2 public and charter schools and community ed programs. Eligible projects include performances, exhibitions, engagement of guest artists, public art projects, artists-in-residence.

Arts Project Grants: $2500 maximum request / 20% cash match

This grant is open to Region 2 non-profit organizations, units of local government, schools, universities, and community education programs.  Eligible projects include arts workshops, music performances, plays, public art projects, exhibits, film and dance and must be open to/accessible by the public. In addition, developmental assistance for an arts organization to help with long-range planning or board development is an option for this grant funding

Quick Grant Deadline for Individual Artists and Nonprofit Organizations occurs monthly thru March 15, 2016 (until funds run out)

Individual Artists residing in one of the five counties of Region 2 may apply for a Quick Grant for Individual Artists for up to $500.00. Mentoring, lessons, and not-for-credit arts learning opportunities, and supplies or services needed to complete an arts project.

Nonprofit Organizations with a physical address in one of the five counties of Region 2 and 501(c)3 status are eligible to apply for a Quick Grant for Organizations for up to $1000.

This grant offers a monthly deadline, quick turn around, and a shorter grant application form to facilitate faster funding for arts activities with a shorter time frame.
