The Creative Minnesota Report is a snapshot of spending by nonprofit arts and culture organizations and their audiences.  It documents the impact that the nonprofit arts and culture sector are having on our state and regional economy.  We will hear specifically about the results of the report which relate directly to the five counties of Region 2: Beltrami, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, and Clearwater.

Date: March 5, 2015
Time:  5:30 p.m.
Location: Rail River Folk School, 303 Railroad Street SW, Bemidji.

Jobs created, the spending of local vs. non-local attendees at arts events, nonprofit arts and culture organizational budgets, and artist employee levels were measured. A total of 1,269 arts and culture organizations from all corners of the state and 39 nonprofit arts and culture organizations in North Central Minnesota participated in this study.

This is the most comprehensive report ever done in the state of Minnesota about the arts and culture sector’s health and economic impact.

See you on March 5!
