The Region 2 Arts Council encourages 8-12 grade students with a strong interest in the arts to apply for a Region 2 Arts Council Legacy Funded Artist Mentor Grant. Students must reside in Beltrami, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, Clearwater, or Mahnomen counties to be eligible for this grant. Open to home-schooled and PSEO students as well those enrolled in public, parochial, or private schools.
Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 9, 2014. 5:00 p.m. Drop off at Region 2 Arts Council office or mail in.
Grant Review Session: Saturday, May 3, 2014. 15-minute interviews for applicants.
Grant recipients receive either 20 hours of one-on-one mentoring with a Minnesota adult artist or $600 toward tuition for a class, camp or workshop in the student’s art discipline in the state of MN.
