R2AC Grant Writing Workshop for Individuals: August 7, 2013

Individual Artists from the five counties of Region 2 are invited to join Region 2 Arts Council for a FREE arts grant writing workshop in Bemidji, MN from 5:30-7:30 in the Region 2 Arts Council office in the lower level of the Historic Carnegie Library Building at 426 Bemidji Avenue on Wednesday August 7, 2013.

The following grants will be discussed at this workshop
at the following times:
5:30-6:30 p.m:

  • Individual Artist Grants (requests up to $1000 / deadline Oct. 3, 2013)
  • Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grants (requests up to $1000 / deadline Oct. 1, 2013)

 6:30-7:30 p.m.:

  •  R2AC/McKnight Career Development Fellowships for established artists ($6000/ deadline Sept. 11, 2013)

Artists residing in Mahnomen, Beltrami, Lake of the Woods, Hubbard, and Clearwater counties are eligible to apply for Region 2 Arts Council grants. Individual artists applying to the Individual Artist and Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grants must be 18 or older.  Native Artists residing in Itasca, Becker, Roseau, and Cass counties are also eligible to apply for the AAI grant. Artists applying for the Fellowship must be 21 or older.
