Carousel is a summertime must-see! This Roger and Hammerstein musical has been regarded by many critics as their finest achievement. Show time is 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday with a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Saturday Aug 3: Nemeth Art Center Midwest Multiples Reception
Midwest Multiples, Nemeth’s annual juried show of prints and artist books, will be opening on August 3, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Midwest Multiples was juried by Rachel Gladfelter, the associate director of Pace Prints Chelsea, and features 16 artists from across the Midwest. Nemeth Art Center is located at 301 Court Avenue in Park Rapids.
Monday Aug 5: Arms Around the Armory
The public is invited to come and learn more about the community collaborative effort to launch The Upper Mississippi Center for the Arts: a home for arts activity, arts education, and cultural events in the Park Rapids Lakes Area. 10:30 a.m. – Noon on Monday August 5, 2013.
