Region 2 Arts Council is offering FREE grant writing workshops in two locations:
- Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Coldwell Banker Community Room, 101 Main Ave. South in Park Rapids, MN.
- Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Mahnomen Museum in the new building between the museum and the Red Apple Cafe on Main Street in Mahnomen, MN.
All Region 2 Arts Council grant requests are for arts-related projects, materials and supplies. High artistic quality is expected of all funded projects.
Individual artists, educational institutions, government offices, and non-profit organizations in Hubbard, Beltrami, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, and Clearwater Counties are eligible to apply for Region 2 Arts Council grants.

5:30-6:30 p.m. Region 2 Arts Council grants for organizations:
Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant (requests up to $6000 / deadline Aug. 14, 2013) and Arts Project Grant (requests up to $2500 / deadline Sept. 11, 2013).
6:30-7:30 p.m. Region 2 Arts Council grants for individuals:
Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant (requests up to $3000 / deadline Aug. 14, 2013), R2AC/McKnight Career Development Fellowships for established artists ( $6000/ deadline Sept. 11, 2013), Individual Artist Grants (requests up to $1000 / deadline Oct. 3, 2013) and Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grants (requests up to $1000 / deadline Oct. 1, 2013. Native Artists residing in Itasca, Becker, Roseau and Cass counties are also eligible for this grant).
