If you are  in middle school, high school, college-aged, or fresh out of college; and if you are considering pursuing an arts career, arts degree, or do you just plain love doing your art-

at the Rail River Folk School, 303 Railroad St. SW in Bemidji for

JumpstART!

A program designed to support you on your path as an artist

  • 10:00 a.m.-11:30  a.m.  Artist Skills Workshop: Portfolios, Artist Statements, Resumes, Grants
  • 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Panel Discussion with artists and arts professionals:  Learn how to JumpstART your arts career now!
  • 1:00-2:00 p.m. Artist Mentoring: see what R2AC artist mentors & students are doing, get more info on Artist Mentor Grant Program for 8th-12th grade artists, and learn about Individual Artist Grants for adult artists seeking mentors.  You want to be a mentor or be mentored?  Please come!

The day is FREE and snacks will be provided!
