Region 2 Arts Council launch date for 365 Days of Art: Jan. 1, 2013
Are you an artist residing in Minnesota’s Beltrami, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, or Hubbard County? Region 2 Arts Council is beginning an initiative we’re calling 365 Days of Art as a platform to spread the word about your art on our Region 2 Arts Council Facebook page.
Every day, beginning on January 1st, we’ll post an image, a sound bite, or a YouTube link of a Region 2 artist’s work. Whether you are a musician, performing artist, visual artist, literary artist, or media artist, we want to feature you on 365 Days of Art.
The concept is simple and helps fulfill our mission to strengthen the presence of the arts in our community while supporting our Region 2 artists. How perfect!
Send staff@r2arts.org an image, a link, and any necessary information about what you’ve sent (titles, dimensions, publication dates). We’ll put you in our line-up. Don’t forget to include this line in your email: “Region 2 Arts Council has my permission to share this link/ this piece of art work/this poem/this piece via their Facebook 365 Days of Art initiative.”
