Arts Downtown Park Rapids tonight, musical performances arranged by the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council at the Kinship spaghetti dinner on Friday, and Arts Leap 2012 on Saturday and Sunday make for a full arts weekend in Hubbard County!
With so much going on, don’t forget that Region 2 Arts Council invites Hubbard County Residents to attend a meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 to gather community input on how R2AC can best support the arts in Hubbard County.
Schools, city and county government, non-profit organizations, artists, art organizations and community members are encouraged to attend and give feedback on Region 2 Arts Council’s grant programs, workshops and other arts activities.
It is important for us to listen to the needs and experiences of people such as yourself. Board members from Hubbard County and Region 2 Arts Council staff will be present at the listening session to ask questions and gather feedback. Please come and discuss your thoughts on how Region 2 Arts Council can better meet the needs of artists and art organizations, and continue to create thriving arts communities.
