Sheila Smith from Minnesota Citizens for the Arts, Terri Widman from Region 2 Arts Council, and Mark Turner from Five Wings Arts Council joined nearly 50 artists, arts organization representatives, and arts appreciators from our region on Sunday, March 25th to share with Representative Larry Howes the powerful and positive impact arts Legacy funding continues to have in our northern Minnesota communities.
The turn out was impressive; and those who shared their experience spoke honestly and eloquently about the many ways the arts improve the quality of our lives.
