Featuring Artist Mentor Grant Recipient Zoey Schlemper

This past Spring, Bemidji High School student Zoey Schlemper received a Region 2 Artist Mentor Grant Award to mentor with local artist Nicholas Jackson.  This slide show features Zoey and Nicholas during one of their weekly drawing sessions at Dunn Bros in Bemidji.  In this series of photographs, Zoey is working on an “epic battle scene” that he is reported to have been researching and sketching for weeks.
