Hope House members will be displaying their art work and reading from their published book, “Here and Not Forgotten,” on Friday, June 3, 3:00-5:00 PM at Bemidji Public Library. Hope House is a comprehensive, community-based support program for persons with serious and persistent mental illness. Our mission is to provide support and skills training to help people remain hospital-free and to use their talents in the community. There will be a short reading from the book at 3:30 PM. The book and individual art pieces will be available for purchase. The art work will be on display through June 30.
This activity is funded in part by a Region 2 Arts Council Grant through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund passed by Minnesota voters on November 4, 2008.
