There are a limited number of spaces available for people to display their arts and crafts in a unique setting at the Blackduck, Minnesota segment of the Lady Slipper Celebration, Saturday, June 25. Nature-related arts/crafts are preferred, either depicting nature or using natural materials. Participants will be hosted in downtown or Wayside Rest area businesses/buildings, and will be featured in “Art Around Town,” the art walk portion of the festival. The hours will be 10 – 4. On the day of the tour, maps will be available at the Wayside Rest Festival Information Center and at sites downtown.
Artists will be matched to an appropriate site for the type of display. In most cases you will need to bring your own display tables and stands. Parking and access to your site should be convenient. Setup will be 9 am Saturday unless you make arrangements with your host for access on Friday afternoon.
Cost for registration will be $15, payable within 10 days after registering by phone. Please contact Shirley, 218-835-7826 or Jeff, 218-835-4319, by June 3 for more information or to register.
