On Wednesday April 27 NELL will host a program with writer Angela Foster. Ms. Foster will help participants “find our story” and discuss how memoir differs from autobiography and fiction.
Angela Foster is a poet and memoirist who lives in Pine City, Minnesota. Angela teaches memoir through various libraries throughout the state and at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, MN. She served as co-editor of “County Lines: 87 Minnesota Counties, 130 Minnesota Poets,” published by Loon Feather Press (2008).
This 90 minute program will be at the Gonvick American Legion Cabin at 9:30 am. Bring along a notebook to take notes and practice writing your story.
