Region 2 is Serious About Supporting the Arts.

We want to thank the more than 60 concerned citizens who came to our meeting with Senator John Carlson at the Headwaters School of Music and the Arts on Saturday February 19th. Please read about it in this article from the Bemidji Pioneer.

We would also like to thank those who spoke-up and told the senator about the concerns within our artistic communities about funding for the arts. We hope that you will be able to also lend your voices for Arts Advocacy Day on March 8th. We are organizing car pools to help all area artists who want to participate. Call us, 218-751-5447, to share a ride to the capital! We need both drivers and passengers.

Let’s show the folks at the Capitol that Region 2 is serious about supporting the arts.  Arts Advocacy Day is an opportunity for those of us who share a passion for the arts not only to advocate for the arts to our legislators, but to meet and network with like-minded people from around the state.
