Boys and Girls Club of the Bemidji Area Offers Drama Program

Starting October 8, 2010 the Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area will offer drama classes with local theater director Greg Gasman.  This activity is funded in whole or in part by a Region 2 Arts Council Grant through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund passed by Minnesota voters on November 4, 2008.

The drama classes will be held on Friday evenings at the Club from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. throughout the fall and winter until March 2011.  Classes are open to High School-aged youth as well as motivated Middle School-aged students.  The classes are free and open to the public, but Club membership is required. The Club offers a variety of youth programs in the areas of sports and fitness, health and life skills, technology, education and career development, art and cultural enrichment, character and leadership development and including tutoring for elementary, middle school and high school students daily.
