The Mask & Rose Women’s Theater Collective offers young women ages grade 7- to college age a theater workshop from July 26-30th ( Monday – Friday 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM ) exploring famed playwright Eve Ensler’s essays about young women around the world and a style of theater originating from Argentina and Brazil called Forum Theater . The week will end with the participants creating an original theater work with original media , visual art and music to be performed on Friday the 30th at 2:30 PM .

The theater production will be available for touring to regional non profits and schools once completed . The workshop will be held at the Wild Rose Theater 501 Bemidji , MN .The instructors for the workshop are Cate Belleveau artistic director of the Mask and Rose Women’s Theater Collective and Brooke Wichmann peace skills instructor at Schoolcraft Learning Community and Central Elementary.
