Applications are available for the following Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund Grants at the Region 2 Arts Council Office or website. This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
Application Deadline: April 15, 2010 for Artist Mentor Grant
Grants available for 8th-12th graders to apply for monies to work one-on-one with a professional artist or to attend a camp or workshop.
Application Deadline: May 6, 2010 for Arts Legacy Designation Grant (City, Townships or County)
Grants to recognize local governments that support the arts to build
healthy communities.
Application Deadline: May 6, 2010 for Arts and Cultural Heritage Grants
Grants available to artists, nonprofits and schools to create or present arts
activities, overcome barriers to the arts and to instill the arts into community and public life. Also, grants to invest in lifelong learning in the arts, or for events or activities that represent ethnic and cultural arts traditions.
