Arts and Cultural (Legacy) grants are a result of the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage funds as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature supported by the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008. The passage of the Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment will greatly enhance arts funding for the next 25 years in the State of Minnesota.
Three grant categories have become available as a result of this funding. These options offer a wide range of opportunities for arts activities in Region 2. Collaborative projects among organizations, schools, artists and/or local governments are encouraged, as well as building healthy communities that value the arts.
