Important! The Community Arts Support Grant is a two year award. ALL applicant organizations MUST submit a two-year Funder Report from the Cultural Data Project (CDP). Your CDP data profile must be submitted and accepted by the CDP no later than December 1, 2015 to be eligible to apply.
The Community Arts Support Grant program funds the development and sustainability of new and existing arts organizations. Proposals may include capacity building, small capital equipment, arts programming, publicity plans, operating expenses, obtaining a 501(3) IRS designation, and development of community arts centers.
Open to arts organizations with IRS 501(c)3 status and arts organizations that need assistance to obtain the IRS status in the R2AC service area. Applicant organizations must be physically located within one of the following Minnesota counties: Beltrami, Hubbard, Mahnomen, Clearwater, and Lake of the Woods. The purpose and mission of the organization must be focused solely on the arts. If your organization is not a 501(c)3 organization, you will need to find a fiscal sponsor and fill out a Fiscal Sponsor Agreement.
