Application Deadlines: October 7, 2010 and February 10, 2011
The R2AC Individual Artist Grants Program, funded through the McKnight Foundation, provides financial assistance to artists who show serious commitment to creative growth and career advancement. This program is designed for artists at various stages in their arts career. Up to $1000 is available for the following:
- Expenses associated with the exhibition, performance, or production of a specific creative work or educational opportunity
- Support for an established artist who wishes to mentor an exceptional student artist
- Projects involving collaborations between two or more artists are welcome
These grants are only available to artists that reside in Region 2. The five-county Region 2 area includes Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods and Mahnomen counties.

- If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to submit the Individual Artist Grant Final Report at the end of your project.

Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Individual Artist Grants
Application Deadlines: October 6, 2010 & March 2, 2011
Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grants are only available to Native American artists, community groups, schools and organizations in or near Region 2. The Region 2 area includes Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods and Mahnomen as well as Becker, Roseau, Itasca and Cass counties. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, be a resident of the State of Minnesota, and must have resided in or near the Region 2 area for at least one year prior to the deadline date of the application.
Individual Artist Grants up to $700 for expenses to produce artistic work or for a creative opportunity.
