Grant opportunities for artists, arts organizations, nonprofits, schools and local governments are now available. To access the application forms visit the Grants and Deadlines page. These grants are a result of the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage funds as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008. The passage of the Clean Water, Lands & Legacy Amendment will greatly enhance arts funding for the next 25 years in the State of Minnesota.
The four new Arts & Cultural Heritage grants offer a wide range of opportunities for arts activities in Region 2. Collaborative projects among organizations, schools, artists and/or local governments are encouraged, as well as building healthy communities that value the arts.
Arts & Cultural Heritage Grants from $3,000 to $6,000
Arts Legacy Designation Grants up to $10,000.
Artist Mentor Grants up to $600
Community Arts Support Grants up to $6,000
